"Let's Go" is a New Plymouth District Council initiative to develop walking and cycling in the District.

IP address

An IP address is a number that's automatically assigned to your computer whenever you’re surfing the world wide web. Web servers automatically identify your computer by its IP address. We collect IP addresses for the purposes of system administration, to report aggregate information to our internal customers and to audit the use of our site. When visitors request pages from the Council, our servers log the visitors' IP addresses. We do not normally link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable, which means that a user's session will be logged, but the user remains anonymous to us.

Terms and Conditions for Competitions

NOTE:  These may need to be revised depending upon the nature of the prize.

  1. Only people living in New Plymouth District are eligible to enter.
  2. All entries must be complete to be valid.
  3. In the case of a competition question, then this must also be answered correctly, to be valid.
  4. Only one entry per email address will be accepted as valid.
  5. All complete entries received on time will be entered in to the prize draw.
  6. Entries must be received by midnight on the stated closing date.
  7. The winning entry will be drawn on the day after the closing date.
  8. The winner will be notified by email within five working days of being drawn. The winner must respond to this email within five working days to confirm contact and address details. If the winner does not, then the competition will be re-drawn.
  9. Upon re-draw, clause 8 will apply again and the winner will have five working days to confirm their contact and address details.
  10. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. The Council reserves the right to terminate this competition without notice at any time.
  12. The prize cannot be redeemed for cash.
  13. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable.
  14. The winner acknowledges that the Council accepts no responsibility or liability for any harm, damage or illness or injury, which may occur as a result of the winner winning the prize and the winner accepts and uses the prize at his or her own risk.
  15. The prize winner’s name and photograph may be used for publicity and promotional purposes in Let’s Go newsletters and/or website materials.
  16. Employees of New Plymouth District Council [and their immediate families], are ineligible to enter.
  17. By sending in an entry, you accept these terms and conditions.
